Kansas Powertrain & Equipment was opened in 2010 by Al and Chuck. At first, we were a small shop that sold parts and did service work. Two months later, we'd become so busy that we had to bring on additional employees, add more equipment, and carry more parts.
Today, we continue to be successful by providing exceptional truck parts and service with great employees. We've formed strong partnerships with our vendors, and that's helped us build dedicated, loyal customers.

Al Barranco
Co-Owner of Kansas Powertrain & Equipment
Al Barranco has been in the heavy-truck business since 1976 and has been managing heavy-truck dealership parts departments since 1983.
All was born in Topeka, KS, and he graduated from Seaman High School in 1979. He's been married to Mary since 1983, and they have two daughters, Alisha and Jessica. Alisha is married to Tanner Hunt, and Al loves spending time with his grandson Anderson in Texas. Al enjoys soccer, and you can find him coaching the high school boys' soccer team at Cornerstone.
Chuck Stover
Co-Owner of Kansas Powertrain & Equipment
Chuck Stover grew up in a family in the trucking business, and he brings many years of experience to our service side. He's highly knowledgeable in fleet management.
Chuck grew up in Topeka and graduated from Seaman High School in 1991. He's been married to Hope since 1997, and they have two children, Elizabeth and Ethan. Chuck is a car enthusiast, and he can often be found with his family boating and enjoying time on their UTVs.
